Biography
I graduated from
the University of Wisconsin – Platteville in 1991
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and minors
in Computer Science and Business Administration. After
college, I worked for Johnson Controls Incorporated in
purchasing for almost 5 years. I left to become a stay-at-home
mom for the next few years. In 2003, I started doing the
bookkeeping for the church my family and I attended in
Arizona until we moved to CA in 2004. In 2005, I started
doing the bookkeeping for the church my family now attends
here in San Jose and worked there until coming to SJCS
in 2007.
Personal Biography
I grew up in small town Wisconsin in
a family of five. I have two older sisters—one living
with my parents in Wisconsin and one living in Illinois.
My husband, Jeff, and I have been married since 1990.
We have three children: Jean-Luc is 12, Amanda is 10,
and Kathryn is 7. When I am not working, you can probably
catch me reading or spending time with my family. I am
a member of Church of the Chimes here in San Jose.
Christian Philosophy of Education
Although I do not have a large amount
of contact with the students, I have been able to get
to know many of them. I believe that we at school are
following the principle set in Proverbs 22:6. We are training
the children up in the way they should go and as they
get older and leave our halls, they will have the firm
foundation they need in this world. My desire is to build
upon that foundation in whatever contact I have with our
students.
