Physical Education
At San Jose Christian School, Physical Education teaches students to use their skill development to become physically fit through exercise. Since students are image bearers of Christ, they have a duty to be caretakers of their bodies. This means that they participate in physical education, learning skills such as: locomotor movements, manipulative skills, cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility. These skills enable students to enhance their health, bring honor to God, and serve Him by taking care of their bodies. Teamwork is emphasized to build unity among students. Physical education challenges the students to establish a healthy lifestyle in God's kingdom.
Our Athletic Director, Mrs. Brenda DeJong, is an excellent role model for our students. To learn more about Mrs. DeJong and her philosophy of education please visit our Faculty and Staff page.
